General Question & Answer

1) What do I need to do to confirm the booking date & package?

The reservation for your photography services on your wedding/pre wedding date will be confirmed upon receiving 50% booking fee of the total package price. Confirmation is based on the receival of deposit payment and not based on enquiry date.

2) Can we only have one photographer instead of two on the wedding day package?

Yes but only for small/intimate weddings with less than 100 guests. 

3) Is there an option to sign up for the package without the montage? What are the requirements in order to have the same day edit montage for my wedding day?

Yes. There will be a RM 300 deduction from the total package price should you choose not to have the wedding montage. That said, in order to have a same day edit montage done on your wedding day, we need a minimum of 5 hours (continuously) to have it prepared. If time is insufficient, the montage will be provided to you upon collection of final artwork.

Same day edit montage is only available for full day wedding package. For half day wedding package, the montage will be part of the deliverable of the final artwork.

4) If my wedding exceeds the coverage hours, will there be any additional cost incurred?

Yes. Overtime surcharge of RM 900/hour is applicable should you exceed the coverage hours quoted in our packages.

5) Do you include albums in your packages?

Albums are only included in out pre-wedding package. For actual day wedding packages feel free to enquire us for quotes and pricing.

6) How many photos will we be expecting in the albums?

i. 40-50 images (Pre-Wedding Half Day/30 pages album)


ii. 60-70 images (Pre-Wedding Full Day/40 pages album)


iii. 50-60 images (Actual Day Wedding Half Day/30 pages album)

iv. 80-90 images (Actual Day Wedding Full Day/40 pages album)

7) When can we expect to receive our photos and albums (final product) after the shoot?

All photos and artwork will require a certain timeline for further editing and touch up. The maximum agreed timeline would be as follows:

Non-peak season (Feb, Mar, April, August)

i. Actual wedding day reception - 2 months

ii. Pre-wedding - 2 months

iii. Portraiture - 1 month

Peak Season (Jan, May, June, July September, October, November, December)

i. Actual wedding day reception - 3 months

ii. Pre-wedding - 3 months

iii. Portraiture - 5 weeks

8) Do we need to prepare crew meal for you and your 2nd photographer?

Yes. It would be great if you could prepare us a meal or provide us with meal voucher around 1 - 2 hours before the dinner reception commence. However, you can also arrange for us to be seated for a meal during your dinner reception provided that the seats allocated for us are in good view of what’s going on during the dinner as we would like to ensure that we’re still able to cover any important moments during that time.

9) Do we get back the raw unedited images?

No. It is not our policy to provide unfinished work to our clients. All our images are finely curated and edited by our photographers/editors before delivery.

10) Do you provide other album sizes besides 12 X 12 inches ?

Yes, however this is upon request only. Prices will be advised accordingly.

11) What are your travel surcharges like?

Our outstation surcharges are calculated based on location. Here are the rates for destination out of Klang Valley: 

Janda Baik - RM 300

Genting, Seremban, Malacca, Perak - RM 800

Johor, Penang, Kuantan , Kelantan, Teranggu, Kedah, Perlis - RM 1,000

 East Malaysia and island destination such as Perhentian, Redang, Tioman, Langkawi, Pangkor – RM 1,200

The surcharges are based on our time allocated for the travelling. Transportation and hotel are not included in the fee.

For photography services outside of Malaysia. Kindly refer to our oversea packages.

12) For overseas/outstation assignment, what other fee do we need to cover?

For overseas and outstation assignment, the client will have to cover our accommodation, transportation and food expenses during the assignment.

13) Do you provide canvas and fine art prints / frames?

Yes we do. We have a wide variety of canvas and prints as well as frames selection which varies from time to time depending on our supplier’s stock availability and sizes. Kindly drop us an additional email to enquire with us on the availability and options.

14) Is there a need for us to meet up with the photographer before the shoot?

i. Pre-wedding shoot = after gown / attire is ready (approximately 2-3 weeks before shoot).

ii. Wedding day = Not required as long as the wedding itinerary as well as contact information are provided to us  around two weeks before the wedding date. However we are more than happy to meet up if you feel there is a need to brief us on your wedding program.

15) How long will you be keeping our photos once the shoot is done?

All images both unedited and edited will be kept for a duration of 3 month upon delivery of final artwork. After that it will be sent for archival and will no longer be made available for download. Please ensure that you safe keep your images once it is delivered.

16) What sort of editing is covered in my package?

On top of our photostyle/ filters, all photos provided will be edited based on minor color, contrast, brightness, hue, saturation and some artistic black and white conversion. Major editing such as facelift, skin smoothing, eye bag removal, modification on physical appearance and etc is not inclusive in the package unless specified and agreed by NDREW PHOTOGRAPHY with extra charges applicable depending on the extent of editing done on case by case basis.

17) What is your working hours like?

i. Our business hours is 10:00am – 6:00pm, Monday – Friday.

ii. All email and queries on the weekends will be replied by Monday.

iii. Client meet are by appointment only as we would like to ensure that we are available to meet with you personally.
